Canadian Interiors: Caught Our Eye

We are excited to share that Canadian Interiors has featured Fan-cy 飯詩 (Rice Poem), with insights by Principal Joanne Lam.

The article highlights how the installation is “deliberately located in the rectangular window of an Asian restaurant like the calligraphy of a Chinese poem.

The article also notes how “this ephemeral screen…made of strings of rice that pays homage to the tradition of planting, eating and sharing” which, for passers-by on the sidewalk as well as for customers who come inside, makes a connection between the food we have on our plate and where its ingredients are sourced.
